Ballast water treatment system manufacturer, ERMA FIRST, and producer of fully integrated ballast water testing solution, Bactest, have teamed up.
- ERMA FIRST will sell Bactest’s BWTS testing toolkit, Speedy Breed SeaSure.
- The toolkit will ensure users of Erma First’s FIT BWTS are in compliance with the IMO’s D2 regulation and enable them to prove compliance to Port State Control.
- Speedy Breedy SeaSure is suitable for on-board testing and tests to the IMO-D2 standard bacteria, phytoplankton, residual chemicals and salinity. The results are integrated into a secure report called Ballast Log to be stored electronically.
