Aronnax: Details of how shipping is in the European emissions trading scheme

 The European Parliament’s environment committee agreed to amendments to region’s ETS. Included is how shipping will be part of it, including which emissions, who is responsible to compliance and the European Ocean Fund.

We hear from one ship operator/owner, Odfjell Tankers on their reaction and also how the final decision with the European Council are anything but clear and transparent. Transport and Environment and SEA-LNG give their thoughts on methane slip after T&E-s recent video of methane emissions from ships in Rotterdam was released.
