Press Release: The annual general meeting of the Global Maritime Forum took place on Thursday 26 March 2020 via a conference call. The agenda included the election of new members of the Board of Directors.
International not-for-profit organization, Global Maritime Forum, announces the new composition of its Board of Directors, following today’s annual general meeting.
Peter Stokes was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Randy Chen was elected as new Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Michael Parker and Oivind Lorentzen III were re-elected as members of the Board of Directors.
Anthony S. Papadimitriou, Claus V. Hemmingsen and Jan Dieleman were elected as new members of the Board of Directors.

They have multiple years of experience in diverse areas of the maritime sector and a profound understanding of the long-term forces that will shape the future of global seaborne trade. Together with the existing Board members, they will strengthen our capabilities to bring about positive change, both for the industry and for society,” says Peter Stokes, Chairman of the Global Maritime Forum.
Founder of the Global Maritime Forum, Flemming R. Jacobs, was appointed as Board Member Emeritus as a mark of distinguished service.
