The highly-acclaimed Smart Operations series will be docking in Singapore for the first time next week.
The full day event is taking place at the Mandarin Oriental on May 12, 2016. There is no charge for attendance.
The global Smart Operations series is now in its third consecutive year. Earlier this year the first 2016 Smart Operations event was held with great success in Rotterdam. In 2014, successful events were hosted in Miami, Tokyo and Copenhagen and the year 2013 saw Smart Operations events being held in Hamburg, Hong Kong, Athens and London. This is the first time that Smart Operations has been hosted in Singapore, then it is onto Cyprus for the final 2016 Smart Operations event of the year.
Originally launched to provide ship owners and operators with specialist forums dedicated to ship satellite connectivity and software solutions, Smart Operations events support the industry as it is propelled into the era of the digital ship, smart operations and smart shipping. Each Smart Operations event, with their conference plus exhibition, aims to look at the whole picture, from ship to shore connectivity, to technology infrastructure requirements to technology solutions.
Smart Operations Singapore has a diverse and unique agenda, through which expects will share their knowledge with delegates and provoke discussions around how the industry can benefit from smart operations and the increasing digitalisation of the shipping. Speakers will present practical, viable solutions that can enhance ship performance and operations through the use of data and, of course, speakers and delegates alike will examine how ship and shore connectivity can be leveraged on a commercial level to improve profitability.
