K Line’s CO2 reduction target certified to meet Paris Agreement

K Line has claimed its CO₂ reduction target is in line with the level required to meet the Paris Agreement that requires a global temperature rise to be kept below 2 degrees Celsius.

• Company says it aimed to reduce CO₂ by half from 2015-2050 and has already achieved a 10% reduction using its K Line Environmental Vision 2050 strategy.
• Drop in emissions has been certified with Science Based Target Initiative, a joint international initiative that checks whether companies are meeting CO₂ reduction targets consistent with the Paris Agreement.
• New interim target of 25% reduction by 2030 is in place.
