Shell Marine has been accredited by the International Marine Purchasing Association’s ACT Sustainable Maritime Suppliers scheme, indicating improved economic, social and environmental sustainability of its operations.
- IMPA ACT initiative represents international best practise and is aligned with UN principles on businesses and current best practise.
- According to the company, Shell is the first company involved in the development, supply and support of marine lubricants to receive this accreditation.
- Involvement shows commitment to the Suppler Code of Conduct, which involves managing impacts of operations on labour rights and environmental & anti-corruption principles.
