MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has acquired the rights for operational efficiency software from Lekven to increase the efficiency of RoRo vessels and optimise port calls.
- The contract will help RoRo ship owners and operators to improve their existing and future fleet efficiency by eliminating inefficiencies during cargo handling.
- The business intelligence software will first focus on improving logistics efficiency of Pure Car Truck Carriers (PCTC) and minimise their waiting times.
- MacGregor’s digital portfolio is undergoing expansion, with ship efficiency software a natural addition to it, according to the company.
