Maersk and CCS Ink MoU Deal

Maersk Line and China Classification Society (CCS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Under the agreement, shipyard and ship information sharing, ship survey services, container vessel type research and development, emergency response services and research into liquefied natural gas (LNG) power technology will be facilitated.

Maersk Line’s Head of Marine Standards Aslak Ross and Maersk Line (China) President Jens Eskelund held talks with representatives of CCS to sign the MoU. This comes after 3 years of cooperation between the companies, starting in 2013.
