JERA, Korea Gas Corporation and CNOOC Gas and Power Trading & Marketing have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the storage and shipping of liquefied natural gas.
- MOU will see companies discuss collaboration for LNG, including joint procurement and participation of projects.
- Due to the fluctuating demand of LNG, JERA has said it believes accommodation schemes between buyers are essential to developing the business environment.
- MOU expected to build a platform to share views on LNG and help to gain greater flexibility in procurement.
