Lithuania-based AB Klaipėdos nafta, operator of oil and liquefied natural gas terminals has agreed a memorandum of understanding with Belgium-based Fluxys to develop small-scale LNG projects and infrastructure across Europe.
- MOU will help companies become more proactive in the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.
- Klaipėda, Lithuania, will become an active LNG distribution centre for Europe and Nordic markets.
- According to Mindaugas Jusius, CEO at SC Klaipedos nafta, Belgium is advanced in the field of LNG and Zeebrugge’s LNG terminal has developed into a first-mover LNG distribution hub.
