NanoPhos Marine, a company that uses nanotechnology to boost efficiency of ships has become a participant in the Green Award certification scheme.
- Green Award scheme recognises ships’ performance in safety, quality and the environment and allow vessels to receive financial and non-financial benefits.
- NanoPhos Marine’s participation in the scheme will allow them to reward any Green Award certified ship with an 8% discount on all its products and an additional 10% discount on selected products.
- The company uses nantotechnology biocide-free formulations in products such as primers, paints, cleaners, deck oil and more to help improve the energy efficiency of ships.
