Weathernews has commenced provision of an Emission Status Monitoring Service that will support shipping companies with compliance of the EU’s Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) regulation.
- Service will initially offer assistance with drafting a monitoring plan, due for submission on August 31, 2017.
- Will then support companies with each phase of the EU MRV implementation.
- Weathernews will use the service infrastructure and databases that are available to help companies start up monitoring plans for regulation compliance.
