NSC-Group is to use Marlink’s Sealink VSAT to move its 60 vessel fleet to high bandwidth maritime.
- The VSAT service of 10GB per ship per month will increase data speed and boost capacity.
- The Sealink VSAT transition will enable crew members to benefit from enhanced communication capabilities, making it possible to stay in touch with family and friends more and make greater use of social media and entertainment platforms.
- The bandwidth increase will also allow NSC-Group to exploit the digital world by using electronic document handling and interconnected Machine-to-Machine (M2M) applications that can support improved operational efficiency and help reduce the Group’s environmental footprint.
