An online reporting platform to reduce maritime crime and risk is to be launched in October.
- Platform is the product of Airbus Defence & Space and CSO Alliance to provide a worldwide voluntary and anonymous incident reporting portal to assess physical and cyber threats.
- It will help decision-making and action-taking by shipowners, operators, ports, insurers, flag states and classification societies regarding new threats that have arisen as part of the digital revolution.
- Platform will collect incident data, assess risks by looking at trends and make alerts available to the community, briefing the wider maritime supply chain on all types of cyber threats.
