The Danish Shipowners’ Association, the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark and the Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs have participated in a partnership agreement to strengthen cooperation within Denmark’s maritime sector.
- The partnership will present proposals to the IMO to contribute towards achieving greater environmental advantages of stricter international regulations, while securing a level playing field for the industry.
- An action plan will be implemented to develop new technologies and focus on fuel suppliers.
- The plan will also see Denmark promote the advantages of stricter and effective implementation of environmental regulations to the rest of the world.
