Port of Rotterdam sets its sights on being an innovation hub

The Port of Rotterdam is pushing itself as one of the industry’s innovation centres.

The port’s marketing department has developed an innovation map to highlight what the port and its environment has to offer, in what it calls the Rotterdam Innovation Ecosystem. It says the system includes an efficient and easy way to find information and contact details.

In addition, Rotterdam Innovation Ecosystem offers an idea of the best party to turn to in a particular phase of any innovation development. The interactive symbolic map on the port’s website links through to businesses located in the port that are part of the development of the port as a smart port.
