Radio Holland has been awarded a contract to supply onboard IT systems to an Antarctic Supply Research Vessel for the Australian Antarctic Division.
- Contract was awarded by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding for the 160m newbuild survey vessel that will supply Australia’s research stations with cargo, equipment and personnel.
- Radio Holland will deliver central IT cabinets for entertainment, CCTV, video conferencing, IP telephony and narrow casting. Underwater cameras will also be provided.
- Equipment will operate in temperatures down to -30°C and the network will work in tough conditions, with remote control and monitoring possible.
