Press Release: Risk Intelligence A/S (“Risk Intelligence” or “the Company”) announces today that the company has signed an agreement with the Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha – NYK Group (“NYK”) for the Risk Intelligence System (MaRisk+PortRisk).
NYK is a leader in global marine transport, listed on the stock exchange in Tokyo, Japan and one of the largest shipowners in the World. The company was founded in 1885, and today NYK operates and owns more than 800 vessels. NYK operate in all major segments of the shipping market including containerships, tankers, bulk and woodchip carriers, Ro-Ro car carriers, LNG carriers and cruise ships.

With access to the Risk Intelligence System, NYK will be joining many other shipping companies, operating word-wide, that are assessing threats and risks based on intelligence and in-depth assessments from Risk Intelligence. Today, the fleet operated by Risk Intelligence clients is 14.7% of the global merchant fleet in international traffic.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the contract.
