Norwegian cluster organisation NCE Maritime CleanTech is to present its Urban Water Shuttle at Nor-Shipping 2017. The zero emissions fast going passenger vessel reduces urban conjunction, emissions and city infrastructure costs.
NCE Maritime CleanTech will also display its Short Sea Pioneer, a two-vessel solution for transportation of goods at sea. It combines mother vessels and daughter/feeder vessels to create a logistic system that improves regulatory, flexibility and availability of transportation.
The company reports that it uses Norwegian maritime expertise to help with its development of new energy efficient and environmental technologies and says that cluster collaboration is an important process for green innovations.
It believes that cross fertilization of ideas and opportunities means they can generate solutions that impact every link in the maritime value chain, from subsea, to marine and the energy sector.
As of May 2017 it has 68 members.
Nor-Shipping 2017 takes place in Oslo and Lillestrøm, Norway, from 30 May to 2 June 2017.
NCE Maritime CleanTech can be found at stand A01-32, Hall A.
