RSC Bio Solutions announced at Nor-Shipping that it has joined forces with Drew Marine to create a global distribution network of RSC Bio Solutions’ environmentally acceptable lubricant.
The partnership will not only increase availability of the EALs but will make use of Drew Marine’s technical expertise to reduce uncertainty and confusion around regulations and sustainability initiatives.
Mike Guggenheimer, CEO, RSC Bio Solutions believes that this partnership creates a product offering that doesn’t present trade-offs from a performance stand off. According to Guggenheimer, this is unlike any partnership before, giving customers a supply chain and technical service network to provide technical expertise.
He told journalists that both of the companies’ customers need someone to help them navigate the space of uncertainty that shipowners and operators are in. Increasing regulations and regulatory uncertainty is the driving force behind this.
