The global Smart Operations event series will soon arrive at its final port call for 2016, in the international shipping hub that is Cyprus.
It will be held on October 6, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza Limassol, is free-to-attend and will focus on smart shipping technology and satellite communications.
Event organisers Fathom Maritime Intelligence say that the aim of the Cyprus Smart Operations event is to offer support to owners, operators and managers in making informed decisions and to strategise on the right data driven technologies, communication solutions and infrastructure for shipping operations.
These events always examine practical, viable solutions to enhance shipboard performance through the use of data. Expert speakers look at how ship and shore connectivity can be leveraged on a commercial level to improve profitability. Cybersecurity and ICT infrastructure are also always at the top of the agenda.
