Springfield Shipping Rolls Out Eniram Software to VLCCs

Springfield Shipping has signed a deal with Eniram to integrate their energy efficiency software on its very large crude carrier (VLCC) vessels.

Eniram’s energy efficiency system will be installed on the vessels to help maximise fuel savings and energy efficiency.  According to Springfield Shipping, Eniram has been selected due to its experience in modern vessels and fuel efficiency.

Springfield Shipping has already installed Eniram’s software to its vessels, with this new deal marking the extension of their relationship.

SPRINGFIELD SHIPPING Co. are the technical managers of the fleet managed by OLYMPIC SHIPPING AND MANAGEMENT S.A., and is the successor of OLYMPIC MARITIME S.A., which was established by Aristotle Onassis in Paris in 1952 and then operated from Monaco until the early 1990s. Since then the company has relocated in Athens. It manages a fleet made up of 17double-hulled tankers and 10 bulk carriers.
