Tallink Grupp Sticks With Neste Low-Sulphur Fuel Supply

AS Tallink Grupp has agreed to continue its partnership with Neste to obtain low-sulphur marine fuel for its ferries calling at ports in Finland.

Tallink Grupp, which provides cruises and passenger transport services as well as ro-ro cargo services in the northern Baltic Sea region, will continue to use the low-sulphur fuel from Neste to comply with the 0.1% sulphur regulations in Emission Control Areas (ECAs) and deliver environmental benefits.

In 2015 Neste revealed it had developed two low-sulphur fuels for use in the marine sector through its strong R&D department.  Neste provides low-sulphur marine fuels in all major ports in Finland with deliveries by truck, bunkering vessel or ex-pipe.
