AS Tallink Grupp will continue to receive low-sulphur marine fuel from Neste in 2017.
- The companies have decided to continue their partnership meaning that Neste will supply the fuel to all Tallink Grupp vessels calling at Finnish ports.
- The use of low-sulphur fuel will enable the vessels to operate in areas where the emissions of sulphur oxides are regulated, such as in Emission Control Areas (ECA) in the Baltic Sea, North Sea, and the English Channel.
- Two low-sulphur fuels are: Neste MDO DMB and Neste RMB, both offering sulphur concentrations less than 0.1%.
