Alfa Laval’s ballast water treatment system, PureBallast 3.1, has been selected by Stamco Ship Management.
What you need to know:
- US Coast Guard type approved BWTS will be fitted to 11 RoRo vessels.
- Alfa Laval says it expects system to generate orders worth around EUR 2.2 million to be booked during Q1 2017.
- Alfa Laval stated earlier its group sales for 2016 were down 11% compared to the previous year.
- Restructuring also took place, which corresponds with increased efforts towards its marine and ballast sector and further interest in PureBallast since USCG approval in December 2016.
