Emissions verification company, Verifavia, has fully certified VAF Instruments’ IVY Propulsion Performance Management system in line with the European Union’s Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) requirements.
- IVY system automatically monitors and reports data from voyages, using both the EU MRV as well as the IMO’s data collection system (DCS) compliance processes.
- IVY system has inbuilt sensors and fuel oil flowmetres, which can carry out cross-checks and advanced performance analysis to ensure accurate fuel oil consumption data is obtained.
- IVY Propulsion Performance Management system underwent a thorough review and demonstrated its ability to meet the EU MRV regulation requirements before it was fully certified.
