Luxembourg based operator, CLdN Ro-Ro SA, has signed a contract with Wärtsilä to receive controllable pitch propellers and Power Take Off / Power Take Home (PTO/PTH) shaft generator systems for its two new RoRo vessels.
- Propellers will be designed using the Optidesign method, which uses Wärtsilä’s advanced CFD technology to optimise interactions between the propeller and hull.
- Delivery package also includes Wärtsilä’s propeller shaft line system including propulsion controls, stern tube package with seals and bearings and accessories.
- Vessels will be built at the Uljanik shipyard in Croatia and will operate in the North Sea.
