- Energy Observer’s tour set to take 6 years, stopping at over 100 locations to promote clean energy generation.
- Hydrogen to be produced on board, using sea water for electrolysis.
- The ship is said to have a zero carbon footprint and will aim to present the opportunities for renewable energy across the maritime and transport industries.
- The project is supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
