A training programme that reiterates the importance of sharing near-miss reports to reduce the risk of fatalities has been launched by Videotel.
- Report a near-miss, save a life programme shows how important it is to share incident reports so that others can learn from them and prevent similar situations arising.
- Video and workbook are available, both using mini case studies to demonstrate how crew and operators can avoid similar mistakes.
- Programme, which has been developed in association with The Standard Club also looks at the barriers to near-miss reporting.
